Buckcherry By The Book
For Buckcherry, life on the road is good. Not only do band members get to play for their fans, but they find inspiration in reading during their traveling downtime. Guitarist Keith Nelson says his most recent page turner was Legs McNeil's "The Other Hollywood: The Uncensored Oral History Of The Porn Film Industry." He says he found the book extremely interesting, despite the lack of pictures.
Singer Josh Todd adds that his recommended read is "Born Standing Up" by Steve Martin. While the guys enjoy a good book, they admit that their time on stage is what makes it all worthwhile. Nelson says, quote, "The most rewarding part of touring is playing the shows. I think that's the part we do for free and then the other 23 hours of waiting around and traveling is what we actually get paid for." Buckcherry will be performing in Charlotte, North Carolina on Wednesday. |
