Two Injured In Rochester Fire
(Rochester, NY) -- Rochester firefighters revived a lifeless man after pulling him out of a burning building. Fire officials say the man was unconscious and not breathing when rescuers pulled him out of the apartments at 683 and 685 Averill Avenue early Sunday morning. Thanks to the quick work of firefighters, he was breathing and talking before being taken to the hospital. Authorities say the two alarm blaze began about 5 a.m. A second man had to jump from the second floor of the burning building to escape the flames. He was not seriously hurt. Damage was limited to one apartment on the second floor. The investigation into the cause continues. |
