Coldplay Calls Jay For EP Contribution
Coldplay is finding the perfect partner to make their upcoming EP shine a little brighter. Rapper Jay-Z is coming on board to add a special twist to their current hit "Lost," and the new version will turn up on the group's "Prospekt's March" collection. Singer Chris Martin and his wife Gwyneth Paltrow previously appeared on Jay-Z's song "Beach Chair" from his "Kingdom Come" album. One of the other special highlights of the new EP is the Osaka Sun remix of "Lovers In Japan." The rest of the collection includes "Life In Technicolour II," "Postcards From Far Away" and "Glass Of Water." The collection is expected to arrive in November.
In other Coldplay news, the band emerged big winners with the U.K. music magazine "Q's" annual awards ceremony Monday. The group won the Best Act In The World Today and Best Album with "Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends." Keane took home the Best Track trophy for their current single, "Spiralling." The Kaiser Chiefs also took home a trophy for Best Live Act. |
