Keane Not Concerned With Oasis Slam
Keane singer Tom Chaplin chooses not to concern himself with the latest slam from Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher. The musician recently criticized Keane and Chaplin for remarks about going outside of the comfort zone. He stated that regardless of what Keane does, they would still be a no good band. Chaplin tells "Bang Showbiz" that it's pointless to comment and that in most forms of art nobody does what Gallagher does in terms of ranting about others. Chaplin says he's proud of the new "Perfect Symmetry" album, and calls the band brave in everything they did with the disc. The singer says, quote, "All the people that have inspired us are all the people who have evolved and changed what they're doing. I don't think we want to be one of those bands that forever remains the same, churning out the same old stuff." |
