Blake Shelton And Miranda Lambert's Special Tour
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert say their collaborative tour is special to them, for a number of reasons. The pair tell "CMT Insider" that they enjoy performing for each other's fans, noting that their music and their shows are pretty different from one another. They also acknowledge that it's fun to share the stage and sing together. But they also know that this is a unique opportunity. Shelton explains that their schedules are planned pretty far in advance, so the chance for them to team up again for a series of dates might not come around again for several years -- and might not ever happen again. Lambert adds, quote, "It's such a great thing to be with your best friend -- the person that you are in love with and an amazing artist." Shelton also notes that they're taping each show. While he says it's, quote, "just so I have them," it's always possible that footage could eventually turn into a DVD. Shelton and Lambert's collaborative tour continues with a show in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on Friday. |
