Deadline For Canandaigua Supervisor Accused Of DWI
(Canandaigua, NY) -- Today's the deadline for the Canandaigua Supervisor to decide if he will plead guilty to a DWI arrest. Lloyd Kinnear must notify the Ontario County DA's office if he will plead guilty to a felony charge of DWI, dating back to his September 5th arrest. Authorities say he drove off Strong Road in East Bloomfield with a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit. A guilty plea could spare Kinnear from jail time, instead receiving probation, a fine and community service. However, he would have to step down from his township position after a felony is added to his record. If the case goes to trial he could face up to four years in prison. |
