Metallica Feels "Magnetic" Pull For Live Show
After several years of mostly playing their back catalog, Metallica is ready to work in material from their "Death Magnetic" album on tour. Drummer Lars Ulrich tells Billboard.com that the new songs are a lot of fun to play, and he feels the band has been conservative in the past with working new material into sets. Lars says, quote, "We're going to hit the ground running here. We're probably gonna learn all of them and play, I hope, at least five a night and probably rotate 'em so we get a lot of new songs in. That's one thing I'm definite about." The group will start rehearsals for the trek on Monday, with the first show on their fall run slated for October 21st in Glendale, Arizona.
