Bono's Bank-Breaking Musical
U2 frontman Bono is hoping for successful returns from a new Broadway show based on "Spider-Man." The singer has created the score for the musical, which "The New York Post" reports is expected to become the most expensive stage production in theater history. "Spider-Man" is being directed by "The Lion King's" Julie Taymore. It currently has an operating budget of 40-million-dollars, with an expected weekly running cost of one-million-dollars. The show is scheduled to open on Broadway next year. |
