The Academy Is... Positive
The Academy Is... is lightening things up for their latest disc, "Fast Times At Barrington High." Singer William Beckett says the individual effort put into each single really makes the album shine as opposed to their previous efforts.
Beckett goes on to say the album is overall a more positive experience than, "Santi," which dealt with some darker themes. He adds that this album was based more on a positive environment with him just being more comfortable with what he was doing, lyrically and melodically. The vocalist says, overall, his headspace is a lot better this time around adding, quote, "There's a reason why they call these things records because it is essentially a recording of where you are at that point in life - musically, mentally, and personally."
