Disney's Selena Gomez Is New Face Of UNICEF
Disney princess Selena Gomez is encouraging kids to trick-or-treat for a cause this year. According to E! Online, the star of Disney's "Wizards of Waverly Place" is the new face of the 2008 Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF campaign. The campaign asks kids to collect donations rather than candy when they make their costume rounds on October 31st. Gomez says she is excited to be the new spokesperson for the charity and hopes she can inspire others to make a difference in the world. Since getting it's start in 1950, the program has raised more than 140-million dollars. |
