Canandaigua Supervisor Refuses Guilty Plea In DWI
(Canandaigua, NY) -- The Canandaigua Town Supervisor has refused to plead guilty to DWI, instead opting to take his chances at trial. Lloyd Kinnear could have accepted the plea and avoided jail time. However he would have had to resign his post upon admitting the felony. The case now is headed for a grand jury. If convicted at trial, Kinnear faces up to four years behind bars. He was arrested in early September after allegedly driving drunk in East Bloomfield. Authorities say because Kinnear already has a DWI on his record, this incident was a felony charge. |
