Niagara University Receives 10-Million Dollar Gift
(Niagara University, NY) -- Niagara University has received it's largest gift in the school's history. Billionaire businessman and Buffalo Sabres owner Tom Golisano has promised 10-million dollars to help build a new science center. The gift will be presented in two-million dollar increments over a five-year period. Golisano says the university's efforts to improve science education convinced him to donate. The new science center will cost 25-million dollars and is slated for completion in 2011. |
