Veteran Stars "Twist" To Support Cancer Awareness
Carole King, Kenny Loggins, and Heart are among those taking part in the upcoming TV special "Frosted Pink with a Twist." The show features a mix of music and testimonials to promote awareness of cancers that primarily affect women, and to give encouragement to those currently fighting the disease. The performances will also include top gymnasts and figure skaters who will demonstrate choreographed routines to the songs. Other participants include Olivia Newton-John, Cyndi Lauper, and Ozzy Osbourne's wife, Sharon, the recipient of the Nationwide Insurance Woman of Courage award. "Frosted Pink with a Twist" was taped in San Diego, California last month, and is scheduled to air on ABC on Sunday. |
