Former Sabres Goalie Shoots Self In Chin
(Fish Springs, NV) -- Former Buffalo Sabres goalie Clint Malarchuk apparently shot himself in the chin with a rifle at his Nevada home. Authorities in Fish Springs, Nevada say they were called to Malarchuk's home Tuesday and found him bleeding profusely. Malarchuk's wife said her husband had put the rifle on the ground facing up when it fired, striking him in the face. The 47-year-old was taken to the hospital by helicopter. Malarchuk is now the goaltending coach for the Columbus Blue Jackets.< |
