Study Says Poor Night Vision May Signal Bigger Problems
(Cleveland, OH) -- More is being learned about age-related macular degeneration. It's a condition that can rob people of their vision, and a University of Pennsylvania study shows people who have trouble seeing at night may be at higher risk for the disease. Cleveland Clinic eye expert, Dr. Rishi Singh [[ REE-she SING ]] says the results were not very surprising.
Researchers say age-related macular degeneration is the leading cause of vision loss among older adults in the U.S. Complete findings of the study are in the November issue of the journal "Opthalmology." |
