Jackson Browne Plans Hurricane Relief Fundraiser
Jackson Browne is lending a hand to those trying to rebuild following this year's hurricanes. The singer-songwriter is staging the Jackson Browne & Friends: A Benefit For Hurricane Relief concert later this month to raise money for Operation USA, which is helping people across the U.S. Gulf Coast as well as in Cuba and Haiti. The devastation caused by Hurricanes Gustav and Ike, which hit all three countries within a three-week time span, inspired Browne to organize the special show. "Friends" on the bill include Bonnie Raitt, Joan Baez and Ry Cooder. Jackson Browne & Friends: A Benefit For Hurricane Relief will take place at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in Santa Monica, California on November 29th. |
