LCD Soundsystem Still Sound
The good thing about rumors is that sometimes they can be unfounded. Earlier this week, LCD Soundsystem guitarist Al Doyle told BBC 6Music that he felt that leader James Murphy was done recording under the band's moniker and would be doing something else musically. That raised a few eyebrows -- including those of Murphy, who quickly set fears to rest. He tells NME.com that he's penned eight songs for the group's third album, but is currently holding onto the material and hasn't shared it yet with anyone. The vocalist says he's not sure when he'll start work on the next album and will likely keep to himself before inviting others to join him. |
