LaBelle Announce Tour Dates
As promised, the LaBelle reunion is including a tour. The ladies have announced the first dates for an upcoming trek. LiveDaily.com says the trio has eight dates set, including stops in Chicago; Detroit; Los Angeles; Washington, DC; and Atlanta. The trek is slated to begin in New York at the famed Apollo Theater on December 19th. While Patti LaBelle, Sarah Dash, and Nona Hendryx have said they never really felt like LaBelle broke up, the upcoming dates mark a return to the road for the veteran group, following a hiatus of more than 30 years. The group is supporting their new album, "Back To Now," which was LaBelle's first collection of new studio material since 1976.
