Rochester Woman Pleads Guilty In Son's Death In PA
(Wilkes-Barre, PA) -- A Rochester woman has pleaded guilty in connection with her two-year-old son's death in Pennsylvania. Prosecutors say 20-year-old Lillian Torres failed to stop her boyfriend from beating the child to death in their Hazleton, Pennsylvania home. Torres admitted to involuntary manslaughter and has agreed to testify against her boyfriend, Alexander Garcia. He is charged with first-degree murder and could face the death penalty. Torres, who has been free on bail, has since moved back to Rochester with her mother. |
