Powerman 5000 Return
Powerman 5000 will return in 2009, and the band is already previewing a new song. Fans can hear the track "Super Villain" at the group's MySpace page. Band members say they intend on hitting the road in January and will preview some of the new songs onstage. The new album is not done, but the guys are so pleased with the material that they will issue music in parts, with new tunes coming every few months or so. Powerman's Spider One adds that he heard the pleas to return to the sounds of "Tonight The Stars Revolt," and he thinks in some way they are with their new music. The vocalist says the new material is not a retread of that sound, but does have a spirit that reminds him of those days. |
