The Eels are taking an active role in the music for the new Jim Carrey film "Yes Man." The group is contributing the new song "Man Up," plus other classics from the band's career on the soundtrack. "Bus Stop Boxer," "To Lick Your Boots" and "The Good Old Days" are among the other Eels tracks. The remaining four songs come from Munchausen By Proxy featuring film co-star Zooey Deschanel and Von Iva. The "Yes Man" soundtrack arrives December 9th.
Chi Cheng's mother Jeanne has a new update on the bassist, but little has changed. She says in her latest posting that the Deftones musician remains in serious but stable condition, and he's still in a coma. She adds, quote, "His vitals all exhibit very stable functions and doctors have begun removing much of the excess monitoring equipment. Chi remains strong in his fight to recover." |
