Rochester Woman Pleads Not Guilty To Hitting Baby's Father
(Rochester, NY) -- A Rochester woman has pleaded not guilty to charges that she intentionally tried to run down the father of her child. Police say 18-year-old Quintora Harris faces a felony count of assault. Authorities say she drove her car into 43-year-old Albert Rivas Saturday night on Portland Avenue. The two have a one-year-old child together. Rivas, who was riding a bicycle at the time, was treated and released from Rochester General Hospital with injuries to his knee and arm. Harris says she only wanted to talk to Rivas about their child and did not mean to hit him. |
