The Killers Beat GNR For Top Spot On UK Charts
The Killers are enjoying the view from the top. According to NME.com, the Las Vegas band's new album, "Day & Age," beat out Guns N' Roses' "Chinese Democracy" to claim the number one spot on the UK album chart. Despite a 17-year lay-off between albums, GNR had to settle for runner-up. Rhydian, a former runner-up on Britain's "The X Factor," is third with his self-titled debut album. Leona Lewis' "Spirit" and Priests "The Priests" round out the chart's top five. The Killers' single "Human" also had a good showing in the Britain. The track is number four on the UK singles chart. |
