Body Found In Canal In Gates
(Gates, NY) -- Police in Gates say a man's body was found in the Erie Canal. Authorities say a boater made the discovery near Chili Avenue and I-390 Sunday afternoon. Investigators say they have an identification of the man but are not releasing it until the family is notified. The only details given are that the man was 50 to 70-years-old and had been in the water for two to three days. Police say there are no signs of foul play. |
