Senses Fail Deal With Loss
Senses Fail will soon be without one of their longtime members. Guitarist Heath Saraceno has announced his departure from the group as soon as the band ends their stint on the Vans Warped Tour this summer. Singer Buddy Nielsen says in a statement, quote, "There is no ill will on either side. Heath has just decided it is time to leave the music business and pursue a career in another field. I think the longer you do this, the harder it becomes to leave home for months and months at a time, devote all your life to just one cause, and at some point in a musician's life they must decide if this is for them anymore." Nielsen says they wish Saraceno the best and have no idea yet who will take over, but they do intend to play a fall headlining tour followed by time in the studio working on a new album. Saraceno adds that he's proud of the two records the band made while he was in the group and is thankful for all the friends made while touring with Senses Fail over the past four-plus years. |
