Butler Refills Trio
The John Butler Trio is a trio once again. The vocalist has announced the additions of drummer Nicky Bomba and bassist Byron Luiters to his lineup. The band started recording their next album early last month. Butler says, quote, "With any new incarnation it has always been an honor and challenge to meet the benchmark the band has achieved artistically and take it to the next level. It's great to be playing with Nicky again and Byron brings a whole new level of melody, funk and Mojo to the trio. Very exciting times." Butler will play the Rothbury Festival this weekend and continues to tour in North America this summer. |
