Monroe County Executive Cuts Ties With Robutrad
(Rochester, NY) -- Monroe County's long standing relationship with a company that provides trades workers will end this summer. County executive Maggie Brooks has pulled the plug on the Robutrad. The company is at the heart of a federal corruption investigation. The county liaison to the company has been arrested on charges he used the workers for political efforts and on non-county jobs. Authorities say 14 workers also were busted for allegedly billing the county for jobs they never did or for non-county related work. The relationship between the Robutrad and the county will end August first. |
