Hamlin Man Arrested After Fight
(Hamlin, NY) -- A Hamlin man is under arrest for allegedly slashing and stabbing two men outside of his house. Police say a group was outside 20-year-old Cody Hovey's Brick Schoolhouse Road home Early Wednesday morning, urging him to come out to fight. Cops say Hovey agreed and came out with a knife. Investigators say Hovey was punched once before the slashing and stabbing began. Cops say one man suffered a punctured lung and liver, while another received lacerations. Hovey now faces two counts of assault. He is being held on 25-hundred dollars bail. |
