Four Arrested In Rochester Home Invasion
(Rochester, NY) -- Four Rochester men will be in court today in connection with a home invasion and police standoff on Tuesday. Police say the four allegedly broke into a Brown Street home Tuesday night, forcing eight victims into a bathroom after robbing them. Authorities say the four then kept police at bay for four and a half hours. Two of the suspects surrendered during that time and police found the other two hiding a crawl space in the home. The victims reported no injuries. The four suspects face burglary, robbery and weapons possession charges. They are identified as 20-year-old Melvin Vazquez, 22-year-old William Torres-Vega, 22-year-old Charles Troche and 42-year-old Carlos Gonzalez. |
