"Manhattan Madam" Teams With GOP Strategist For Gubernatorial Run
(New York, NY) -- There's a new candidate for governor in New York, and she's sure to turn some heads. The "Manhattan Madam" Kristin Davis has announced she plans to run for the office and is working with noted GOP strategist Roger Stone to get her name on the ballot. Davis served nearly four months in jail on Rikers Island after being convicted of promoting prostitution by running her high-priced call-girl ring in Manhattan. Her list of clients allegedly included former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, who was brought down for doing business with a different prostitution ring, and Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez. Davis appears to be planning a run on the Libertarian ticket, and says she will push for the legalization of prostitution and marijuana, which she says could provide two-point-five billion dollars in revenue to help close New York's massive budget gap. |
