Rochester Police Identify Wounded Shooting Victim
(Rochester, NY) -- Rochester police continue investigating a shooting over the weekend which left one man fighting for his life. Police say 38-year-old Ya-Sin Yawn was shot early Saturday morning at about 2:30 a.m. on Thurston Road. Investigators say Yawn was sitting in his car when a group of people approached him. Police say someone fired into the car hitting Yawn in the chest. Police say he suffered life threatening injuries. So far, no arrests have been made. |
