Rochester To Take Over West Brighton Fire Services
(Brighton, NY) -- Rochester will be taking over fire and emergency medical services in West Brighton. The Brighton town board voted unanimously Wednesday night to start negotiations with Rochester. The city says they will provide those services to the main station on West Henrietta Road for 750-thousand dollars a year with a three percent increase every year. The vote comes as West Brighton struggles to get volunteers. |
